Bank statements, education loans, income sources and sponsor documents — how to present your finances clearly.
Show genuine and accessible funds
Embassies want to see that you can pay for tuition and living costs. Funds should be genuine, clearly sourced and accessible when needed.
Income source documents
Family income may come from salary, business, agriculture or rent. Each source needs supporting documents such as tax records or rental agreements.
Start early, keep every document consistent, and ask questions before you submit — not after.
Education loans
If you are using an education loan, keep the sanction letter and related documents ready. Your counselor will check that everything is consistent.
- Keep scanned copies of every document in one folder
- Check that your name is spelled the same everywhere
- Write down deadlines in one calendar
Keep everything consistent
Names, amounts and dates should match across all documents. Inconsistencies are one of the most common reasons files need clarification.
