Bachelor of Nursing

A registered-nurse qualification with clinical placements from the first year, leading to registration and strong job demand in every destination we work with.

About this course

Nursing is the single most requested course among our students, and for good reason: graduates are in demand in Australia, the UK, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland, and the degree leads directly to professional registration.

The course combines anatomy, physiology and pharmacology with hands-on clinical placements in hospitals, aged-care and community settings. You graduate with the hours and the competencies needed to register as a nurse in your study country.

Many of our students enter through a diploma or foundation pathway when their +2 grades or English scores are below the direct-entry level. Your counselor will tell you honestly which route is realistic for you.

What you will study

  • Anatomy, physiology and pharmacology
  • Clinical placements in hospitals and community health
  • Mental health and aged-care nursing
  • Evidence-based practice and research methods
  • Professional ethics and patient safety
  • Preparation for nursing registration

Entry requirements

  • Typically +2 (Science preferred) with around 60–70% or GPA 2.8+
  • Biology, Chemistry or Mathematics at +2 level in most countries
  • IELTS 7.0 overall with no band below 6.5–7.0, or PTE 65+ (nursing councils set higher scores)
  • Police clearance, vaccinations and a health check before placements
  • Some universities interview applicants or ask for a short statement
These requirements are indicative. Every university sets its own grades and English scores; your counselor will confirm the current requirement for each course on your shortlist.
